3 Easy Way To Make Your Style In 2012

It’s almost time to say sayonara to 2011, dolls, and with the brand new year comes a brand new chance to be your most stylish self! We’ve got three supremely easy ways to up the ante in your wardrobe without a major commitment…

Style Resolutions

1. Let your clothes motivate you. No matter what your goals are this year, a little sartorial incentive will definitely help your cause. Trying to lose a few pounds? Buy a pair of jeans one size smaller than usual and hang ‘em in your closet as a reminder. Ready to take the plunge into a more serious career? The perfect interview blouse will light a fire under you to spruce up your resume. Wish you took more risks? Splurge on an accessory in a color you’d normally never wear.

2. Purge, purge, purge. It’s time to take a no-holds-barred approach to closet cleaning, ladies. Stick by this hard and fast rule: If you haven’t worn it in a year, toss it! The Salvation Army or your local Goodwill will benefit much more than the back of your closet.

3. Splurge on some fabulous underthings. True beauty comes from the inside out, and while we know that means something much more substantial than a garment, the idea definitely translates to your innerwear. A gorgeous new set of lingerie will make you feel like a million bucks–and no, you don’t have to spend that much. Just set aside a little more than you’d usually be willing to spend, then notice how confident it makes you feel, even if you’re the only one who ever knows about it.

What are your style resolutions for 2012? Are there any bad fashion habits you’re dying to break? Any risks you’re going to try in the new year? Share!

Miley Cyrus On Glamour Magazine May 2009

Miley Cyrus Glamour Magazine May 2009

Miley Cyrus is making her rounds lately to promote her new film, Hannah Montana: The Movie.  Her latest venture is being the cover girl for the May issue of Glamour Magazine.

In her interview the 16-year-old even talks about two of Hollywood’s most talked about women, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, saying:

“I’m a huge Jennifer Aniston fan and a huge Angelina Jolie fan.  Jennifer Aniston can put on a plain black dress, with plain makeup and hair, and look so stunning. Angelina always looks so comfortable in her own skin. She’s also changed, going from wild child to being a mom and having a normal life. And Jennifer Aniston bounced back after her divorce. If anything like that ever happens to me, I’m like, ‘Pull a Jennifer, Miley!’ She is so classy.”

Of her family she says: “The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my family. I think it’s selfish to go out partying all the time, especially if you have little ones [in your family]. I have a nine-year-old sister, and I don’t want her to go to school and have people make fun of her for it.”

She says of her friends: “When I read something in the tabloids and it’s from an ‘insider,’ I want to know who thinks they’re on the ‘inside.’ Because I can count on one hand the people who really know me.”

On her relationship: “The best thing that’s happened to me in a long, long time has been meeting Justin [Gaston], because he’s the most respectful and selfless person I’ve ever known.”

On growing up: “I think at some point during everyone’s life, you finally figure yourself out. I haven’t even done that yet. I’m still learning who I am.”

On her body image: “One thing that bugs me is people who say, ‘Miley really needs to lose some weight,’ or, ‘She got her boobs done.’ I did start out really skinny, but you’re not going to have boobs when you’re 12 years old. I’m like, What are talking about — let me grow!’”
