Starring Colin Morgan as Merlin, Bradley James as Prince Arthur, Anthony Head as King Uther, Richard Wilson as Gaius, Katie McGrath as Morgana and Angel Coulby as Gwen, Merlin is an imaginative and enthralling new twist on a legend that is as old as time.
In the third series, produced by Shine TV and broadcast every Saturday night on BBC One, there is a familiar blend of magic, monsters and mayhem, but when misbegotten secrets are exposed and old friends choose new sides, it is clear that the kingdom of Camelot will never be the same again.
Colin Morgan has told Totally…The Adventures of Merlin that he thinks the show is such a success because ‘it appeals to a wide age range and has elements of humour, drama, action, adventure, and of course, magic, which touches both children and the child in all of us.’ The magazine will play on those elements with its fun mix of games, interviews and more.

Merlin Magazine: It Certainly Brings On The Magic
With my two children both being huge fans of the BBC Merlin series, when they spotted the new Merlin magazine on our latest food shop it was a ‘We NEED this magazine!’ chant from both until I gave in.
The boys love it, packed with inside info on the upcoming fourth series it is a must for all Merlin fans, young and old. The magazine has cast interviews, competitions, make and do pages, quizzes and much more and kept my 2 boys quiet all afternoon, with my little one still walking around cl…

As a parent I think this magazine has a good balance and I particularly enjoyed the comic strip and there is also little advertising which from a parents point of view is great because then I don’t get a ‘Mummy, I want that’ every other page!
The magazine also comers with two quality gifts, a dragon glider and a crystal set which both my children enjoyed making, the crystal set is still expanding as I type!
Overall a great children’s magazine which adults will also enjoy and a great accompaniment to the fourth coming series. I hope they amke another one!
